Participant Workshop: 24/7 energy certificates – live data and outcomes (Friday 13th January)
The team at Granular Energy are really pleased with their progress made in 2022 and are now able to demonstrate the live system using real data provided by participants. In the workshop the Granular Team will show the system they’ve built and the outcomes it is providing for those participating in the trial. The aim is to replicate the same access for all participants.
Workshop: Creating an internal carbon price with the Bank of England (Thursday 26th January)
Creating and sharing an internal carbon price is an essential tool in supporting net zero ambitions. Through communicating an understandable value of carbon, energy and sustainability leaders can encourage longer-term mindsets of key decision makers alongside promoting those harder to get low carbon investments. In this interactive Workshop, Paddy Pope the Energy and Carbon Manager from the Bank of England, will share his journey to creating a carbon price framework and encourage participation in enhancing the model.
Workshop: Implementing net zero with the Carbon Trust (Thursday 2nd February)
Today, almost two-thirds of the UK’s largest businesses have pledged to reach Net Zero by 2050 and many more have set science-based emission reduction targets. The challenge is now creating and implementing the action plans to achieve success. To help you navigate the uncertainties of Net Zero and develop a viable action plan the Carbon Trust is leading a workshop on the 2nd of Feb at 3pm.
