Thoroughly enjoyed listening to the Scaling Sustainable Aviation panel chaired by Matthew Gorman last week at the Reset Connect Conference in London.
One of the key challenges is the supply of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). With its current high cost, limited capacity, and global supply availability this is going to prove a real challenge to the aviation sector. Traceability of these supply chains, especially on a global scale, will also be a real challenge. We cannot afford uncertainty as to the origin of the fuel source.
As chair of Rutland Forums, I look forward to leading these discussions with our airport forum and identifying the opportunities to collaborate with the other sectors (especially logistics) within our network.
